On December 8, the “Intelligent Shaoxing: New Quality Productivity Development Conference” and the 17th Fudan University Global Alumni Reunion were held in Shangyu District, Shaoxing. The theme of the event was “Fudan Forever, Better and Better.” The Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, Ke Jixin, attended the conference, delivering a congratulatory speech. Fudan University Party Secretary Qiu Xin, President Jin Li, and Shaoxing Party Secretary Shi Huifang also gave speeches. City leaders Wang Qinying and Lu Xiaguang were also present.
Ke Jixin congratulated the successful hosting of the Fudan University Global Alumni Reunion. He emphasized that Fudan University, a world-renowned institution, has deep historical ties with Zhejiang and maintains close cooperation. A large number of outstanding Fudan alumni are active across various sectors in Zhejiang, injecting new momentum and creating new advantages for the high-quality development of the province. He noted that the entire province is deeply studying and implementing the important speeches of President Xi Jinping during his visit to Zhejiang, accelerating the construction of an innovative Zhejiang. Ke Jixin expressed hope that Fudan University would further leverage its strengths in talent, resources, technology, and its network of global alumni, contributing to the construction of an innovative Zhejiang. He also encouraged Fudan alumni to actively participate in the development of Zhejiang, helping to cultivate more outstanding talent and facilitating the transformation and landing of scientific and technological achievements. He emphasized that various local departments should provide full-cycle services, support, and protection for Fudan alumni to innovate and start businesses in Zhejiang.
In his speech, Jin Li highlighted that Fudan University and Shaoxing share geographical proximity and deep emotional connections. In recent years, both sides have deepened their cooperation, achieving fruitful results. The 17th Alumni Reunion, combined with the “Intelligent Shaoxing: New Quality Productivity Development Conference,” is an important expansion focused on high-quality development and exploring new forms of school-local cooperation. He said that Fudan University would expand its cooperation “circle of friends,” build an “innovation ecosystem,” and strengthen its “gravity zone” for development. The university aims to better gather global alumni resources and “Fudan friends” to create a more charming synergy between the “excellence and charm” of Fudan and the “spirit of innovation” in Shaoxing. The alumni association will further enhance the platform’s role, enriching the school-local and school-enterprise cooperation, and uniting alumni to make greater contributions to national development, national prosperity, and social progress.
Shi Huifang, on behalf of the Shaoxing Municipal Party Committee and Government, welcomed the distinguished guests. He remarked that the long-standing mutual achievements between the ancient city of Shaoxing and the prestigious Fudan University have become even more profound over time. He pointed out that Shaoxing is currently implementing President Xi Jinping’s important requirement to “take the lead in shaping new development advantages through scientific and technological innovation” and is accelerating the creation of a regionally distinctive, all-encompassing innovation system. This will provide strong support for writing a new chapter of innovation in the new era. Shi also noted that this reunion serves as an important platform for Fudan alumni to support their alma mater, while also strengthening the cooperation between Shaoxing and Fudan University. He expressed his hope that Fudan University and its alumni would continue to focus on Shaoxing, invest in Shaoxing, and develop Shaoxing, working together for a new beginning and a shared future.
During the main conference, keynote reports, roundtable discussions, and a series of events celebrating Fudan University’s 120th anniversary were held. Shangyu District also promoted its “Youth City” initiative. During the conference, specialized seminars on frontier fields such as biopharmaceuticals, sci-tech finance, integrated circuits, and intelligent vision were held in Shangyu, Yuecheng District, and Zhuji City.

金力在致辞中说，复旦大学与绍兴地缘相近、人缘相亲，近年来双方在校地合作方面不断深化、取得丰硕成果。本届联谊会加持了智汇绍兴·新质生产力发展大会，是着眼高质量发展、探索校地合作新形态的重要拓展。我们将扩展合作“朋友圈”、构建创新“生态圈”、强化发展“引力圈”，更好汇聚全球校友资源和“复旦之友”智慧，让“卓越而有趣”的复旦气质与绍兴的“新时代胆剑精神”辉映出更加动人的风采。校友会将进一步畅通校友助力母校、助力地方渠道，进一步发挥平台作用丰富校地校企合作内涵，团结引领校友为国家发展、民族兴旺和社会进步作出更大贡献。
施惠芳代表市委市政府向出席大会的领导嘉宾表示欢迎。他说，古城绍兴与名校复旦双向奔赴、相互成就的故事由来已久、历久弥新。当前，绍兴正在深入贯彻落实习近平总书记“在以科技创新塑造发展新优势上走在前列”重要要求，按照创新浙江建设决策部署，加快构建具有地方特色的全域创新体系，为谱写新时代胆剑篇提供坚实支撑。此次联谊会既是复旦校友支持母校发展的重要载体，更是绍兴和复旦深化校地合作的重要平台。期待复旦大学和广大复旦精英持续关注绍兴、智汇绍兴、投资绍兴、兴业绍兴，同绍兴一道，向新出发，共赢未来。
主旨大会上还进行了主旨报告、圆桌对话以及复旦大学建校120周年校庆系列活动，上虞区作“青春之城”推介。大会期间，分别在上虞区、越城区、诸暨市举办了生物医药、科创金融、集成电路、智能视觉等前沿领域专题研讨会。
