Recently, the National Intellectual Property Office approved the establishment of a National Intellectual Property Protection Center in Shaoxing, focusing on the high-end equipment manufacturing and green chemical industries. This approval marks another major national intellectual property project for Shaoxing, following its selection as a national intellectual property protection demonstration zone.
Upon completion, the National Intellectual Property Protection Center will be integrated into the national rapid and coordinated intellectual property protection mechanism. It will serve Shaoxing’s high-end equipment manufacturing and green chemical sectors, providing comprehensive “one-stop” services such as rapid patent examination, swift confirmation of rights, and quick enforcement of rights. This will significantly reduce the average patent authorization cycle by over 70%. The center’s operation will further optimize Shaoxing’s intellectual property protection system, promote deeper integration of the innovation and industrial chains, and enhance the role of intellectual property in supporting industrial transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development.
In recent years, Shaoxing has vigorously implemented the “4151” plan to strengthen its advanced manufacturing industry. The high-end equipment manufacturing and green chemical clusters have continued to grow. Both industries have received consecutive recognition from the State Council as cities with significant results in “industrial growth stabilization and transformation upgrade.” According to statistics, in 2023, the city’s above-scale equipment manufacturing output reached 73.8 billion yuan, while the green chemical industry achieved an output of 114.3 billion yuan. The industrial sector is thriving, and the demand for intellectual property rights authorization, usage, and protection is strong among innovative entities.
近日，国家知识产权局批复同意绍兴市面向高端装备制造和绿色化工产业开展国家级知识产权保护中心建设。这是继入选国家知识产权保护示范区建设城市后，我市获批的又一国家级知识产权重大项目。
据了解，国家级知识产权保护中心建成后，将被纳入全国知识产权快速协同保护工作机制，面向我市高端装备制造、绿色化工领域开展知识产权快速协同保护工作，为相关创新主体提供专利快速审查、快速确权、快速维权等知识产权“一站式”综合服务，缩短专利平均授权周期70%以上。保护中心的投入运行，将进一步优化绍兴知识产权保护体系建设，推动创新链和产业链的深度融合,更好地发挥知识产权在产业转型升级和高质量发展中的支撑作用。
